Microsoft have release Internet Explorer v9 (release candidate) which is now available for download.  There are a host of new features in this version such as:

• Pinned Sites
• Download Manager
• Enhanced tabs
• New Tab page
• Search in the address bar
•  Notification Bar
• Tracking Protection

From a web browser forensics point of view, there is a new download manager whic maintains its own INDEX.DAT file containing a list of downloaded files and the locations of where they were saved.
